1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TradeTime ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

TradeTime is a job management and invoicing platform designed for tradespeople in Ireland and the UK. The Service allows users to manage clients, create quotes and invoices, track time, and manage jobs.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account.

You agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Transmit harmful code or malware
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for fraudulent purposes
  • Interfere with other users' use of the Service

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into TradeTime, including client information, invoices, quotes, and job details. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of data you enter
  • Maintaining your own backups
  • Ensuring your use complies with data protection laws

6. Invoicing and Financial Information

TradeTime provides tools to help you create invoices and manage your business finances. However:

  • We are not accountants or tax advisors
  • VAT and RCT calculations are provided as guidance only
  • You are responsible for verifying all tax calculations
  • You should consult a qualified accountant for tax advice

7. Subscription and Payments

Some features of TradeTime require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

8. Free Trial and Free Plan

We may offer a free trial or free plan with limited features. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free offerings at any time.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access until the end of your billing period
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation
  • You may export your data before your account is closed

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeTime shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TradeTime and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
